Can we have Conservative without Christian?

I am as American as the next guy. Likewise, I am as disgusted as the next American about what I see going on in Washington, I have sent emails and my temper has boiled over because our representatives use computer generated responses instead of attempting to make some type of human contact, I have placed telephone calls and got nothing but an answering machine. And, I don’t support the socialist agenda taking place in the nation’s capitol. However, I am equally upset over the Conservative push that’s taking place and Christianity being left out, intentionally. The founding of this nation began in 1620 at Plymouth Mass. when the Pilgrims set foot here to begin a life where worship of the Lord Jesus Christ could be conducted without political influence. How do I know this, I read the Mayflower compact. Why have so many forgotten it? Where are the born again Christian’s today? A nation with a Conservative political view is no good if the Lord is left out. The problems in our country doesn’t begin in Washington our problems are placed under the spotlight there, our problems begin in the living rooms of our people. We have wandered away from God and done so in a rebellious way. To be honest we like our sin and we don’t want to get rid of it. How do I know this, on Sunday our churches are empty while the lake, the beach, the racetracks, the football stadiums, the beer stores and the video stores are busting at the seams with people, more and more of them are leaving the church to live a life centered around ungodly behavior.  We don’t have a fear of God any longer. Its time for another great awakening in this country, its time for Faith, Family and Freedom to be priorities again.
